The EGO Power+ Aura-R2 is EGO's first wire-free robotic mower, designed to keep lawns up to 3000m² consistently trimmed with no boundary wires to bury and very little input from you. It maps and navigates the garden with EGO's PATH IQ system, which combines RTK satellite positioning, VSLAM visual mapping and VIO motion tracking for centimetre-level accuracy and tidy, non-overlapping stripe-pattern passes.
A dual-camera vision system spots and steers around pets, people and obstacles in real time, while a daily micro-cutting routine returns fine mulch to feed the lawn. Rainfall detection pauses mowing in the wet, 50% slope handling copes with banks and undulations, and the IP66 housing can be rinsed clean. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G keep it linked to the EGO Connect app for scheduling, monitoring and GPS anti-theft alerts.
