The EGO LM2230E-SP is a 55cm self-propelled mower for a large lawn, and the bare-tool version of the LM2236E-SP kit. It suits someone who already owns EGO batteries and wants to cover a big lawn in fewer passes.
The deck is EGO's super-composite (PC/PBT): light and stiff, and it will not rust. You can swap between a mulching blade and a bagging blade, collect into the 85L bag or mulch, and add EGO's side-discharge accessory if you need it. Cutting heights run from 25 to 100mm, so it copes with long grass at the start of the season.
At 55cm this is more mower than a small garden needs, and at 31.2kg without a battery it's a solid machine to manoeuvre and lift. It is also wide for narrow gates and paths, so measure your access before ordering. EGO back it with a five-year domestic warranty.
