The Cobra ZTR42L is a sit-on zero-turn mower for large gardens, paddocks and estates with plenty of obstacles to work around. Zero-turn steering means the machine pivots on the spot, so you can cut right up to trees, beds and fence lines without the reversing and repositioning a conventional tractor needs — on a plot with mature planting that is where the time saving comes from.
A 23hp Loncin V-Twin drives through a Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 hydrostatic transmission, the same estate-grade unit fitted to the stand-on models. The 42" 3-in-1 deck runs triple blades and can be dealer-set to rear discharge, side discharge or mulching. An ergonomic seat with lumbar support and LED headlights make longer sessions and early starts realistic.
