The CS1810E is EGO's new 45cm chainsaw for 2026 and takes over from the CS1800E. It has a 2.5kW brushless motor driving the chain at 22m/s, and EGO puts its weight at 3.7kg without a battery. That makes it a saw for firewood, storm clear-up and felling small trees at home, rather than a day-long forestry tool.
EGO has moved the battery to improve the balance, which you'll notice on longer cuts. An LED display shows the speed setting, chain brake status and light controls, metal bumper spikes help you pivot through the log, and the IPX4 rating means a shower won't stop work.
It's sold as a tool only, so it makes most sense if you already run EGO 56V batteries. If you mainly cut branches and small logs, the 35cm CS1410E or 40cm CS1610E are shorter and cheaper; for bigger timber, look at the 50cm CS2000E. Warranty is 5 years for domestic use and 2 years for professional use.
