ego LM1710E 56V Lithium Ion Battery 42cm (17") Push Lawn Mower (Tool Only)

The EGO LM1710E is a 42cm cordless push mower for a small to medium lawn, and the updated replacement for the LM1700E. It weighs 21.6kg without a battery, which makes it easy to turn round beds and lift into a shed, and it has the new LED dashboard for switching between three blade speeds.

Any EGO 56V ARC Lithium battery fits, so the pack from your trimmer, blower or hedgecutter will run it. Battery size is the main thing to get right with EGO: a 2.5Ah pack suits a small lawn, and a 4Ah gives you headroom if yours is nearer medium. If you are new to EGO, the LM1711E is the same mower supplied with a 2.5Ah battery and charger.

It is a push model, so it suits a flat or gently sloping lawn. On a steeper garden, or if you would rather not push a full bag uphill, the self-propelled LM1710ESP is the better choice. The catch is that it's a bare tool: if you don't already own EGO batteries, the LM1711E kit costs less than buying the mower, a battery and a charger separately. EGO back it with a five-year domestic warranty.
