The EGO LM2130E-SP is the bare-tool version of our LM2135E-SP: a 52cm self-propelled mower from EGO's Professional range, sized for a larger garden. Buy this one if you already own EGO batteries. How much it cuts depends on the pack you fit, and EGO's own figures are the ones to measure your lawn against: up to 333m² on a 2.5Ah, 533m² on a 4Ah, 666m² on a 5Ah and 1,000m² on a 7.5Ah battery.
Plenty of people move to this size from an ageing petrol mower. No fuel or servicing, and the battery runs the rest of the EGO range. The polymer deck is lighter to handle than steel and will not rust or dent, which is why it should outlast one.
Self-propelled drive matters at this width, because a 52cm mower with a full 70L bag is a lot to push, especially on a slope. Blade speed adjusts automatically to the grass. Mulching needs EGO's ABP2100D-E kit, which is sold separately, so budget for it if you'd rather not collect. EGO back it with a five-year domestic warranty.
